Our search for a farm

***

Today was the day. We were driving around to check out some properties in the area.

We are looking for a farm.

Ideally, I would like to find an old farmhouse (real fixer upper that we would like to restore), with some old barns and quite significant acreage - minimum 5 acres of land. We also would like to have some wooden area on the property. Maybe a pond or a stream. Am I dreaming?

No, we are actually doing it. We are officially looking for a farm for our family. I couldn't be more happier.

Today we visited some places in Morris County. What a beautiful place it is. Even on this cold winter day.
We had to stop at the local farm to say hi to some of these cuties as well.

They were well fed by our kids.

We've also found this beauty.

I would be happy to convert this into a cozy coffee shop. Unfortunately, it's located in strictly residential zone. Well, I hope that one day someone restores this beautiful building to its former glory.

This was the reason we did all that driving. An old barn and a silos on almost 9 acres. There is no farmhouse, but it could be build. Well, I probably won't sleep tonight.

The nicest part of this trip (at least for my kids) - snow.  Yes, finally! It started to snow.
